TFE Hose

Teflon

Parflex has a complete offering of TFE hoses. Whether you need a standard smooth bore hose or the ultra flexibility of a convoluted hose; Parflex provides both styles in a complete range of working pressures. Protective jackets for fire protection and abrasion resistance are also available.

TFE is the preferred product for extreme applications. It’s wide temperature range (-100 F to +450 F), chemical inertness (TFE is compatible with most chemicals), and it’s purity (TFE is FDA approved for food contact and NSF listed) make it the ideal choice where no other hose will work.

Available in 3/16" ID through 2" ID, in smooth bore and convoluted styles.  Parker TFE hose can be supplied in certain sizes up to 4000 PSI. working pressure. A complete array of end connections are available for all hoses.

Plastic Fittings, Valves and Tubing

Flexible Metal HoseMetal

The Parlex Division is excited to announce the addition of Flexible Metal Hose to our product offering. Flexible metal hose enables us to provide you even more options for solving your most extreme applications.

Through a unique process called Hydroforming Parflex is able to provide you with the strongest most flexible hose available. Hydroforming imparts the minimum amount of stress possible on the tube allowing it to exceed international guidelines for cycle life. Hydroforming produces a hose unequaled in flexibility.

Metal hose is the ideal product for extreme conditions where other hoses fail. It has a wide temperature range up to 1,500° F and is frequently used for the conveyance of liquid nitrogen. Metal hose also provides the lowest permeation rate of any hose available. The stainless steel corrugated core tube is resistant to many chemicals.

Parker Gas Piping (PGP™)2pgp

The basic component of Parker Gas Piping (PGP™) is corrugated, stainless steel, tubing (CSST) covered with a polyethylene jacket. Along with the CSST, the PGP system incorporates new Parflex FastMate™ quick connect fittings and other Parker-manufactured metal components including manifolds, pressure regulators, valves, termination outlets and protection devices.

Using standard tools, specially trained installers route the gas lines in a parallel or series configuration to the different appliance locations within the building. The flexibility of the system’s tubing allows fast, simple routing through joists, around beams and past other obstacles. It’s as easy as installing electrical cable.

This AGA/CGA design certified system is reliable and cost efficient. Parker also provides training, so gas-utility and trade personnel meet certification requirements ensuring reliable installation.

The lower installation costs of PGP can make a natural gas or propane (LP) system even more appealing to your customers. It also offers speed and simplicity of routing, safety, flexibility and economy over black iron pipe. Tests by the Gas Research Institute proved a labor savings of 24% to 66% in new construction and 72% in rehab projects. And when you add innovative Parflex FastMate quick connect fittings, the savings only get better.

With Parker’s revolutionary new fitting, installers no longer have to handle or inventory split rings, ferrules, gaskets or washers. The FastMate fitting comes preassembled from the factory with no field assembly required. Just push the tube into the fitting and tighten the nut, for a metal-to-metal seal that’s AGA certified.

PolyflexPolyflex

Parflex’s spiralized steel reinforced polymer hose picks up where conventional product capabilities stop. The working pressures of the hoses, fittings, valves and quick couplings bearing the polyflex trademark range from 6,000 to 60,000 psi. These products truly offer "The strength of steel with the flexibility of hose".

Advantages and Benefits:
