Series
2PV Boiler
Burnham's Series 2PV sidewall vented boiler is designed for jobs where a chimney
is not available or up to code such as in replacement or electric conversion
installations. With a small footprint and controls on the front, the Series 2PV
can be easily serviced and installed almost anywhere, including a closet or
utility room. And with cast iron construction, Burnham's Series 2PV will provide
homeowners with years of comfortable and reliable home heating.
Spirit
™ Boiler
Burnham's Spirit gas boiler provides tightly constructed newer homes with an
efficient and reliable heating source. With its direct vent design, the Spirit
guarantees there will always be sufficient combustion air for years of safe and
efficient operation The cast iron heat exchanger works in combination with a
draft inducing fan to produce more heat with less fuel consumption - making the
Spirit gas boiler the best choice when converting from expensive baseboard
electric heat or heat pumps.
Revolution
As Burnham's most efficient gas-fired boiler (up to 88% A.F.U.E.), the
Revolutionis unmatched in versatility. Available in five sizes, the Revolution
is easily combined with an indirectwater heater and zoning controls for total
home comfort. And because of the variety of venting options, the Revolution is
adaptable to the floorplan of virtually any home. Consider these features:

Independence®
Boiler
Available in gas-fired steam or hot water, Burnham's Independence boiler is
designed for installations where optimum steam performance is needed as is the
case in older, steam heated buildings. Offered in a cast iron package, semi-pak,
or knockdown model, the Independence is a perfect fit for new or replacement
urban installations.
Carefree™ Boiler
Burnham's Carefree boiler offers 100% efficient electric heat in an attractive
wall-mounted unit. The Carefree boiler combines the convenience of electric heat
with the comfort that only a hydronic system can provide, for those instances
where oil or gas prove to be impractical.
Spacemaster
Boiler
The wall-mounted Spacemaster gas boiler is ideal in jobs where individual
metering is necessary like in
apartments and condominiums. The Spacemaster can be installed directly in the
living area because it features sealed combustion and direct venting eliminating
the need for a chimney. Manufactured with a reliable cast iron heat exchanger,
the Spacemaster is your best choice for a wall-mounted boiler.
Minuteman®
II Boiler & Water Heater
If floor space is critical or individual metering is needed, then the Minuteman
II is the solution for all your heating needs. Best suited for condominium,
apartment installations, or where a low heat load exists, Burnham's Minuteman II
combines a cast iron boiler for home heating while providing domestic hot water
all in one compact unit. The gas-fired unit is available in four sizes and is
easily installed in a closet or utility room.
Alliance
Indirect Water Heater
Burnham's Alliance indirect-fired water heater can supply more hot water more
efficiently than tankless coils and low capacity direct-fired water heaters. The
Alliance utilizes the heat from water and steam boilers to produce domestic
water for year-round abundant hot water at a low operating cost.
Series
5B Cast-Iron Boiler
Burnham's Series 5B Cast-Iron boiler is best suited for commercial,
institutional, and multi-family residential heating applications where the
simplicity of an atmospheric design is desired. Available with steam or hot
water trim and controls, the rear outlet draft hood is specifically designed for
installations involving low ceiling heights. Shipped as a knockdown unit, the
Series 5B also allows for maximum maneuverability in the boiler room.
Series
8B Gas Fired Boiler
A versatile unit, the Series 8B atmospheric gas-fired boiler satisfies
commercial jobs either in a single or modular boiler arrangement. Available as a
packaged or knockdown unit, Burnham's Series 8B is furnished with all controls,
accessories, and instructions to make single and multiple boiler installations
simple. The compact design and minimum side clearances also facilitate boiler
room layouts.
V9
Series
The sectional design of Burnham's V9 boiler makes it ideal for use in light
commercial installations where the boiler room is not easily accessible. The V9
features a wet-base, forced draft design that eliminates the need for a special
base, combustion chamber, or mechanical equipment to artificially induce proper
draft. Versatile enough to meet most plan and spec job requirements, the V9 can
be installed in a confined area requiring only 9 inches from a right side wall
and 6 1/2 feet of vertical clearance. Not to mention the fact that assembly of
the cast iron sections and nipples is easily accomplished by using short draw
rods, a ratchet, and a wrench.
V11
Series
Burnham's V11 Series boiler is built to last using durable cast-iron and an
assembly method preferred by mechanical contractors and building owners. The V11
Series is adaptable and easily installed into commercial boiler rooms by simply
joining the cast-iron sections with cast-iron nipples using short draw rods, a
ratchet, and wrench. Additionally, top or rear venting allows for easy chimney
or outside-wall venting. Available in 20 sizes with gross output ratings from
667 to 4,551 MBH, the V11 has the power to handle virtually all commercial
heating loads.
Hewing PEXc Oxygen Barrier Pipe:
Electronically
cross-linked PEXc pipe with oxygen barrier, manufactured to meet ASTM F876/F877.
Hewing's oxygen barrier pipe is designed for use with closed hydronic systems
and will help protect ferrous materials in the system from oxygen. Hewing's EVOH
oxygen barrier meets or exceeds requirements of the German DIN standard (4726)
for oxygen permeation. Hewing PEXc is PPI rated from 180 degrees F at 100 PSI
and 200 degrees F at 80 PSI. NSF-rfh certified. ICBO ES ER-5421.
Hewing PEXc
Non-Barrier Pipe:
Electronically cross-linked PEXc pipe without oxygen barrier, manufactured to
meet ASTM F876/F877. Hewing's non-oxygen barrier pipe is designed for use with
closed hydronic systems using non-ferrous materials or isolated from ferrous
materials using a secondary heat exchanger. Hewing PEXc is PPI rated from 180
degrees F at 100 PSI and 200 degrees F at 80 PSI. NSF-rfh certified. ICBO ES
ER-5421.
Brass Manifolds:
Manifolds are
available in valved and valveless in 2, 3, and 4 circuit sizes and can be
assembled in tandem to make other sizes. Valved return manifolds come complete
with combination balancing (Adjustable Cv 0.2 - 2.7) and shutoff valve and caps
for on/off operation. Valve head accepts motorized operator for individual zone
control. Valveless supply manifolds can be combined with valved return
manifolds, or valveless manifolds when individual circuit balancing is not
necessary. Us for 1/2" PEXc only.
Manifold Accessories:
Manifolds accessories can be ordered as a kit (recommended) or separately. Brass
manifolds require BSP to NPT couplings and an end piece or end cap. Air vents
and drain valves are recommended, order plugs if air vent and drain valve are
not used.
Cut-to-size Copper Manifolds:
Available in 72" lengths with 24, 2" long circuit branches.
Designed to be cut to size to fit any installation. Manifold sizes of 1"
available with 1/2" drops 3" O.C., and manifold sizes 1 1/4" and
1 1/2" available with 1/2" or 3/4" circuit branches, 3" O.C.
Type L copper. Larger sizes are available by special order.
Modular Copper Manifold:
Available with 2, 3, or 4 circuits and flared to fit 1" or 1 1/4"
copper pipe on one end. Manifold branches are 1/2" x 2" long and
3" O.C. Type L copper. Multiple manifolds can be sweat together to make a
variety of sizes.
BRHC Fittings for Hewing PEXc:
Machined
brass compression fitting assemblies for 1/2", 3/4", and 1"
Hewing PEXc pipe. Brass manifold system uses 1/2" PEX by R-20 fitting
(1/2" Hewing PEXc only). Use PEX by sweat, (1/2", 3/4", or
1"), for connections with copper manifolds. NPT and sweat fittings can be
used for hydronic baseboard installations in conjunction with Hewing PEXc pipe.
All fittings are sold complete in packaged quantities only.
Baseboard Fittings:
Machined brass compression fitting for 1/2" PEXc to 3/4" copper.
Available in 1/2" PEXc by 90 degree copper elbow. 1/2" PEXc by
Baseboard tee, and 1/2" PEXc by 3/4" male copper sweat.
Radiant Valves and Controls:
Motorized Zone Valve Operator (24 volt):
Fast acting electronic operator opens in 10-12 seconds and features visual
indicator for operation. Four wire configuration has end switch to actuate
boiler or circulator. Can be mounted directly to brass manifolds for individual
circuit zone control or combined with flow control valve for use on copper
manifolds. Unique alignment feature allows for exact adjustment with all valve
bodies.
Flow Control/Isolation Valve:
For use on copper manifolds when individual circuit balancing and control is
necessary. Available in 1/2" by R-20, use PEX by R-20 fitting for 1/2"
PEX pipe connection. Threaded collar adaptor for motorized zone valve operator
attachment, and compression adaptor for easy connection are available for
separate purchase.
Motorized Zone Valve (24 Volt):
Electronic zone valve provides zoning control and balancing for single
zone/manifold systems. Fast acting, opens in 10-12 seconds. Four wire operator
has end switch to activate boiler or circulator. Available in 3/4", 1"
and 1 1/4" sizes.
Thermostatic Mixing Valve:
Adjustable mixing valve automatically maintains desired water temperatures in
radiant heating systems. Use for mixing or diverting. Adjustable from 75-160
degrees F.
Brass 3 Way Valve:
Provides 3 way mixing control where high flow rates are necessary. Can be used
as either a manual valve or with optional motor control (special order).
Available in 3/4" and 1".
4 Way Valve:
Provides a 4 way mixing control where high flow rates are necessary. Can be
used as either a manual valve or with optional motor control (special order).
Available in 3/4" - 2 1/2" sizes.
3 or 4 Way Valve Control Motor
Control motor, for mixing valves up to 1 1/2".
Outdoor Reset Controls:
Mixing control provides an accurate alternative to mixing valves. The control
varies the speed of any circulator in order to maintain a fixed supply water
temperature. Comes complete with boiler sensor, supply water sensor, and outdoor
air temperature sensor.
Snow Melt Controls:
650 - Manual Snow melt control with slab sensor and outdoor sensor. Built in
energy saving features - timer, idling temp., LCD readout.
661 - Automatic snow melt control. Control is self-diagnostic. Maintains a set
temperature in the slab.
Heat
Exchangers:
BR
series heat exchangers are designed for Hydronic Heating. Domestic Hot Water,
and Snow Melting applications, using a boiler as the source of heating fluid. BR
series heat exchangers are also used in combination with non-barrier pipe to
protect the boiler and ferrous components from oxygen diffusion in accordance
with the DIN 4726 standard. BR series heat exchangers are rugged, reliable and
compact. These products represent the latest technology in high performance
heat exchangers. The copper brazed, stainless steel plates offer a high
efficient, low fouling heat transfer surface. All BR units have male pipe thread
fittings and mounting stud bolts. They are rated for 450 psi and are U.L.
listed.
Pipe Cutter:
Deluxe Pipe Cutter - Makes right angle cuts and is built for heavy duty use. A
must for 1" PEXc.
Economy Pipe Cutter - Provides a quick and inexpensive way to make clean right
angle cuts.
Uncoiler:
Versatile
Uncoiler - Holds all pipe sizes sold by Burnham, powder coated finish, spool
axle bearings, vertical and horizontal spooling, easy to remove twist in pipe
and prevents uncontrolled spooling.
3D Uncoiler - Holds only 500 foot coils of 1/2" PEX, painted finish, spool
axle bearings, continuous 3 dimensional spooling to prevent twists in pipe and
prevents uncontrolled spooling.
Baseray®
Baseboard
Burnham's line of cast-iron baseboards provide space heating in both residential
and commercial applications. The Baseray is inconspicuous, but an effective
distributor of heat by disbursing heat both horizontally and vertically.
Burnham's Baseray radiator models offer tremendous versatility and reliability
in distributing heating in both residential and commercial environments.
Slenderized
Radiators
Burnham's line of modern cast iron radiators is suitable for both residential
and commercial applications. Whether you choose the slenderized or radiant
design. Burnham cast iron radiators supply a continuous flow of radiant heat.
This radiant heat - combined with convected heat - provides a warm comfortable
environment. It shields outside walls and windows to stop cold air from
infiltrating. After the boiler has run its full cycle, the hot water in the
radiator sections continue to emit gentle heat. The end result is a cozy room
with less than a two degree temperature variance from floor to ceiling.
