Comfort and Efficiency
Radiant floor heating is an ideal way to warm your home or business.
Conventional heating systems heat just the air, so most of the heat rises to the ceiling. But our RFH system circulates warm water beneath your floor (or even through your ceilings or walls) through our RAUPEX pipes, radiating heat from the entire radiant heating panel to warm you and every object in the room.
Energy-conscious homeowners can enjoy the elegance of vaulted ceilings and large expanses of glass with the high performance of REHAU vinyl windows and radiant floor heating.
What Makes PEX the Ideal Plumbing System?
PEX plumbing systems aren't new. They have been used extensively in Europe for over 20 years. What is new is the record number of plumbers who are switching to RAUPEX® every day as their new system of choice. RAUPEX is four times lighter than copper and flexible PEX requires fewer joints so it's easier to handle and much faster to install. It's versatile, durable and more resistant to chemical damage than copper. In fact, our PEX system, unlike CPVC or copper, will deliver all these advantages:
- PEX promotes a higher level of water purity and superior flow.
- Worry-free EVERLOCTM fittings are easy to install properly, eliminating expensive callbacks.
- PEX pipe withstands extreme temperatures, and its wall thickness reduces standby energy loss.
- Unlike copper, PEX system pricing remains stable and competitive.
RAUPEX Pipe

|
RAUPEX pipe is high-density, cross-linked polyethylene (PEX). Through a carefully controlled process carried out at high temperature and pressure, individual polyethylene molecule chains are linked into a three-dimensional network. This process, called the Engel method of cross-linking (PEXa), gives RAUPEX exceptional strength, making it an ideal construction product. Pipe Performance REHAU's cross-linking process significantly enhances critical properties of:
Just as important, REHAU has 25 years of experience in the manufacture of PEX pipe with nearly 1 billion feet of RAUPEX in service.
RAUPEX is available in 1/2",
3/4" and 1" nominal sizes according to dimensional standards
defined in ASTM F876-90. |

| EVERLOC Fitting System | ||
REHAU's engineering and technical expertise is evident in everything we do. EVERLOC is proof of our commitment to quality designs for the construction industry.
The REHAU EVERLOC fitting system is a proprietary joint that takes advantage of the "memory effect" of RAUPEX pipe. |
|
|
| Because RAUPEX has a cross-linked structure, it returns to its original shape after being expanded. When the pipe compresses as it tries to return to its original shape, it exerts a significant force upon the fitting that is placed into the expanded RAUPEX. A properly installed EVERLOC fitting is a worry-free joint. Designers can confidently place it in areas that will be inaccessible after installation. | ||
| Certification & Warranty | |
Certifications REHAU PEX systems exceed the performance standards set by organizations worldwide: 1. ASTM (American Society for Testing and
Materials) standard F877 All of these certifications and standards are monitored continuously by these organizations. Quality Control RAUPEX pipe is produced in a plant that is certified by the International Standards Organization (ISO).
